AIR-FRIED SOFT SHELL CRABS WITH GARLIC LEMON BUTTER
Air-fried Soft Shell Crabs with Garlic Lemon Butter

Made in a home Air Fryer
INGREDIENTS
4 soft shell crabs, cleaned
1 cup buttermilk
3 eggs, beaten
2 cups panko breadcrumb
1 lemon, zest
2 tsp seafood seasoning
For Garlic Lemon Butter
1 stick butter
5 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 lemon, zest, and juice
METHOD
Set up dredging station, with separate shallow bowls of buttermilk, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb. Season breadcrumb with the zest of a lemon and seafood seasoning.
Add crab to buttermilk and let soak for 10 minutes. Dip in egg, then coat in the breadcrumb. Place dredged crabs, 2 at a time in air fryer.
Cook at 400ºF for 8-10 minutes, until cooked through and pink. Serve with lemon butter.
In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant and butter starts to brown. Add lemon juice and zest and remove from heat. Season with salt.
