Savory Brown Sugar BBQ Ice Cream

Made in Home Ice Cream Maker

Serves 8+

For Brown Sugar BBQ Ice Cream:

INGREDIENTS

4 cups half-n-half

1 cup BBQ sauce

¼ cup dark brown sugar

1 tsp salt

METHOD 

  • Combine ingredients in medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring frequently until mixture comes to a simmer.
  • Remove from heat and set aside to cool to room temperature. Transfer to a bowl or container, cover, and store in the refrigerator until ready to churn into ice cream.
  • Follow manufacturer’s instructions to make brown sugar BBQ ice cream.
  • Serve with pulled pork sliders.
